Atlanta, GA (June 6, 2021) – Around 8:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, June 5, a pedestrian accident occurred following a shooting in Atlanta.

Police initially responded to the scene of a shooting and discovered that a man in his 40s was shot while he was jogging with others near the area of I-75. Soon after, police received a call that a pedestrian was struck. They arrived at the scene, which took place at an apartment complex on Noble Creek Drive. A man in his 20s had been taking out his trash when he was struck by the suspect.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene. The pedestrian male was transported to the hospital with a variety of serious injuries, though his current condition is not yet known.

The suspect remained at the scene and was arrested by police.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
