Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-75 Near Langford Pkwy
Atlanta, GA (August 15, 2021) – At 1:28 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, August 15, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of the Langford Parkway. Multiple vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other forcefully. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police urged those traveling in the area to use Metropolitan Parkway as an alternate route.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
