Dalton, GA – Collision at N Glenwood Ave & E Waugh St Results in injuries
Dalton, GA (August 18, 2021) – Around 3 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 18, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Dalton.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of North Glenwood Avenue and East Waugh Street. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles forcefully collided, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
