Trenton, GA – Rollover Accident Leads to Injuries on US-11
Trenton, GA (September 17, 2021) – At 8:21 p.m. on the night of Thursday, September 16, a rollover accident occurred in Trenton.
According to Dade County officials, the accident happened on US-11 around the area of mile marker 1. A vehicle was traveling in the area when the driver lost control, causing their vehicle to roll over in the area. The vehicle then struck a power pole, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicle.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several people were taken to local hospitals by medical helicopters for serious injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
