Marietta, GA – Car Accident at Powder Springs Rd & Macland Rd
Marietta, GA (September 27, 2021) – At 4:09 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, September 27, a car accident with injuries occurred at a Marietta intersection.
According to Cobb County Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Powder Springs Road and Macland Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other after entering the intersection. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles. The vehicles were towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes at the intersection for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
