Atlanta, GA – Car Accident at Peachtree Rd & Pharr Rd Intersection
Atlanta, GA (October 1, 2021) – At 5:05 p.m. on the evening of Friday, October 1, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Peachtree Road and Pharr Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other at the intersection. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged and had to be removed by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection until police were able to fully clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
