Atlanta, GA – Car Crash at Buford Hwy & Lenox Rd Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (October 9, 2021) – At 4 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, October 9, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Buford Highway and Lenox Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding forcefully with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was completely blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision remains ongoing.
