Kennesaw, GA – Car Crash on I-75 Near Wade Green Rd Leads to Injuries
Kennesaw, GA (October 9, 2021) – At 5:51 p.m. on the evening of Friday, October 8, a car crash with injuries occurred in Kennesaw.
According to Cobb County Police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of exit 273, Wade Green Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were hurt in the crash. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes of traffic for an extended period of time. This led to delays until police were able to clear the scene.
