Cumming, GA – Injuries in Car Crash at Ball Ground Rd & Hester Dr
Cumming, GA (November 1, 2021) – At 8:05 a.m. on the morning of Monday, November 1, a serious car crash with injuries occurred in Cumming, Georgia.
According to Cherokee County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Ball Ground Road and Hester Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the collision. The injured parties, who have not yet been formally identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The intersection was completely blocked in both directions until police cleared the scene. Police urged those in the area to avoid the intersection until the scene was cleared.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
