Fort Oglethorpe, GA (March 26, 2023) – Injuries stemmed from a serious car accident that took place at an intersection in Fort Oglethorpe on the night of Sunday, March 26.

According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Cloud Springs Road and Red Bud Road. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, crashing into one another. One of the vehicles overturned as a result. The involved vehicles sustained severe damages in the collision.

Several Fort Oglethorpe responders, which included paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to immediately help those in need. One or more individuals sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The individuals were helped by EMS crews and then taken to local hospitals.

Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the road was blocked in the area. A tow truck had to remove the vehicle that was rolled onto its side, causing delays in the area for some time.

No further details have been released, but the investigation continues.
