Macon, GA – One Individual Killed in Fatal Crash on Knight Rd
Macon, GA (April 5, 2021) – Around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, April 4, one person was killed in a fatal crash in Macon.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the accident took place on Knight Road. At the time, a man lost control of his pickup truck when it went into the other lane of traffic, colliding with a second pickup truck parked in front of a house.
An 18-year-old male was inside the second truck when it was hit by the first truck. He was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Two others were inside the truck and sustained severe injuries. They were taken to the hospital for treatment but they are expected to be okay.
The driver who lost control of his truck was charged with first-degree vehicular homicide.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
