Acworth, GA (May 22, 2020) – Around 12:30 p.m. yesterday, May 21, a tractor-trailer collision with injuries took place on I-75 in Acworth.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office investigated the collision. They determined that a tractor-trailer rear-ended a GMC Savannah, which led to a chain-reaction accident involving a Nissan and Ford F-150.
One of the drivers, identified as a 68-year-old man from Florida, was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. He has since been listed in stable condition. A Georgia woman was also hospitalized with minor injuries but has since been released from the hospital.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident at this time.
