Alapaha, GA (November 8, 2019) – This morning, a truck rollover accident led to injuries in a child on US-82 when a truck was attempting to avoid a passenger vehicle.
At the time, a red vehicle was traveling along when it went through a stop sign across US-82. A semi-truck was driving through the area when the driver saw a Nissan Maxima and attempted to avoid hitting it. The truck slammed on its brakes, where it then rolled over.
The woman driving the passenger vehicle and her baby in the back seat were taken to the hospital with injuries. Both of them are expected to be okay.
Georgia State Patrol said that charges are pending. Their investigation is currently ongoing.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of a full recovery.
