Albany, GA – Fatal Car Accident at Palmyra Rd

Albany, GA (February 5, 2020) – On Monday afternoon, February 3, police responded to a fatal car accident at 2700 Palmyra Road in Albany that took one life.

Police confirmed that the victim was identified as a 35-year-old man. At the time, he was driving a black Dodge Nitro going north while a white Ford F-350 was headed south.

For reasons that are not yet known, the two vehicles collided forcefully head-on.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident while the driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital with injuries.

Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
