Atlanta, GA – Car Accident on I-285 Near Bouldercrest Rd Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (September 4, 2021) – At 9 p.m. on the night of Friday, September 3, a car accident with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Bouldercrest Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with one another due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
A temporary red alert was issued in the area for a period of time. All lanes of traffic were held until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
