Dalton, GA (December 3, 2019) – This morning around 8 a.m., a two-vehicle collision took place at the intersection of GA-2 and Crow Road in Dalton.
Police claim that the accident took place at an intersection without a red light. One of the vehicles was identified as a sedan while the other was a semi-truck.
The woman in the sedan was badly injured and airlifted to the hospital with severe trauma. She had a head injury and serious bruising due to the accident but is expected to make a full recovery.
The roadway was closed down by police at the intersection for several hours. Police continue their investigation of the accident.
