Decatur, GA (October 21, 2020) – Around 1:46 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 21, a rollover crash with serious injuries took place in Decatur.
DeKalb County officials confirmed that the accident took place in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Candler Road when two vehicles collided with each other. One of the vehicles, identified as a white sedan, rolled over completely off the right shoulder. The vehicle was badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The injured victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their current conditions are not yet known.
Only the right lane of traffic was blocked for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the collision continues at this time.
