East Dublin, GA (October 31, 2019) – On Tuesday, October 29, police responded to the scene of a fatal accident on Ben Hall Lake Drive in East Dublin.
According to authorities, the accident took the life of a husband and his toddler daughter. His daughter’s second birthday was only two months away.
The crash took place when the husband’s Cadillac collided with a westbound Ford F-350 truck around 6:41 a.m. The Georgia State Patrol was dispatched to assist at the scene. They found that the husband’s vehicle went into the other lane of traffic around a curve, where it was struck.
The driver of the truck, identified as a 25-year-old man from East Dublin, survived the accident.
The 42-year-old man who lost his life was identified as a special education teacher at the Johnson County Middle School.
The accident investigation is ongoing at this time.
