Griffin, GA (March 26, 2019) – Around 9:19 p.m. last night, March 25, a car accident took place on Kilgore Road that led to injuries in one person in Griffin.
Various responders were called to the scene of the accident including Spalding Sheriff’s Deputies, Spalding Fire Units, and EMS. They found that one person was injured after becoming involved in an accident and striking a tree.
A witness to the accident contacted 911 services and told them that the driver was still inside the vehicle and they noticed that smoke was coming from under the vehicle. Fire fighters extracted the driver from the vehicle and they were taken to the Atlanta Medical Center for treatment.
The investigation into the circumstances of this accident continue.
