Griffin, GA (January 13, 2020) – Around 10 a.m. on Sunday morning, January 12, a two-vehicle collision took place on Sidney Drive near the area of Highway 92 in Griffin.
Various responders were dispatched to the collision including Spalding Sheriff’s Department, Spalding Regional EMS, Georgia State Patrol, and more.
According to investigators, one individual was entrapped in one vehicle. Police confirmed that an elderly male received a concussion but was breathing at the scene.
A landing zone was established and one party was taken to the hospital by medical helicopter.
Two wreckers were called to the scene of the accident. Police continue their investigation.
