Macon, GA (October 30, 2019) – This morning around 7:30 a.m., police responded to a car crash with injuries on GA-247, also known as Hawkinsville Road, in Macon.
The accident, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, took place between a Chevrolet Impala and an Acura MDX. The driver of the Chevrolet was taken to the Medical Center Navicent Health and has been listed in critical condition.
The roadway was completely shut down in the area and drivers who were coming through were urged to take another route due to large delays.
The cause of the crash is currently being investigated at this time.
