Bicycle Accidents in Georgia
The amount of bicycle accidents leading to serious injuries and fatalities is always growing in the state of Georgia. In fact, in 2011, approximately 14 people lost their lives in these severe accidents while, in 2015, 23 people were killed in these collisions due to the negligence of others. Georgia sees more bicycle-related accidents than many other states, which means that more precautions need to be taken on our roads. Bicyclists have few protections from harm, which means that they are more likely to sustain serious injuries in an accident. Victims are urged to seek help immediately in the midst of a collision that is not their fault.
Facing the aftermath of a cycling accident can be a challenging thing to face, especially if you have been injured due to the negligence of another driver. Every bicycle accident is different from another, which means that the way that each victim handles their claim will vary. In most of these cases, you will be able to show that a driver was not paying close attention to the roads or following the rules of the road that a driver is supposed to use around cyclists.
