Sandy Springs, GA (October 17, 2020) – Around 11:32 a.m. on Saturday morning, October 17, a car accident with injuries occurred in Sandy Springs.
According to police, the accident took place in a construction zone in GA-400. The crash took place in the northbound lanes around the area of North Springs Marta Station and involved several vehicles. Police confirmed that the vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics and fire crews were immediately dispatched to the scene of the collision. They assisted those with injuries, though the extent of the injuries is not yet known. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result.
The accident led to an array of lane restrictions and delays in the area.
