Atlanta, GA – Teens Lead Police On Chase In Multiple Stolen Vehicles

Atlanta, GA (April 19, 2023) – Two teenagers have been hospitalized after engaging in a brief police pursuit overnight.

According to Walton Police, at around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, officers were in pursuit of two separate stolen vehicles. One of the vehicles veered off the road and burst into flames on Pleasant Hill Road in unincorporated Lithonia. The two 16-year-olds inside the car sustained injuries to their lower bodies and were transported to the hospital.

Meanwhile, the second vehicle collided with a power pole and entered the woods approximately a mile away from the first vehicle on Pleasant Hill Road. The number of occupants in the second vehicle, as well as any potential arrests or injuries, remains uncertain at this time.
