Macon, GA (July 27, 2021) – Officers have released further details after a boating accident in Bibb County that occurred on Saturday morning, July 24, leaving one person dead and six more victims seriously injured. Georgia officials are still determining whether criminal charges are merited in the boat crash, which killed one man and injured six others. All six people who were injured in the late-night collision were transported to the hospital via ambulance but have since been released and are recovering at home.
